The Last Day in Xerago,

Really in a tough feel that to express today is my last dayin XERAGO.This is my First company which gave me a chance to setup a career path and being a Zero poin of my career,

I take this oppurtunity to express my sincere thanks to Lingeswaran[Mali] ,since he gave the opputunity to work with XERAGO.

With all nostolgia feelings i am releving my self from xerago.

Voyage of Exploring New Route

Last weekend, I was about to travel to Mom's residence that is in a village in Interior Northeast TamilNadu. When me and my colleague Mr.PradeepKumar has entered in to the Asia's Big Bus Terminus at Koyembedu in Chennai, we realized that this journey is not going to be a pleasant one. Due to some various reasons, my regular route buses are so rush with unbelievable crowd. I have seen these buses are looking for passengers for long time in the normal days. But on that day,"It's their Day”. We are forced to discover a new route to the destination as Europeans are forced to discover a sea route to India when Turkey closed the "Constantinople”. As Vasco da Gamma does it we discover a new route as follows.
Chennai-- Pondichery-cudalur--Chithambaram.From Chitambaram we will take individual routes to our destination.

Battle to board for French colony:
Once plan fixed, we came to the pondichery bus platform and found there is also lot of Competitors. But still we got a Bus to pondi via Thindivanam and waiting for bus to start. Pradeep got down the bus to rest room. Suddenly I noticed that there was a new bus coming in and it is going via ECR [East Coast Road] by which pradeep was egar to travel. I called him and asked to block a seat. He did it and call me to come there and finally we start our journey of discovery together by 12:15 IST.Being in a very crowded bus with children’s cry and peoples murmuring sound and occasionally good songs in FM, we have reached podichery by 3:15 AM.

Tea in French Colony:

We had a "WonderFull" Tea in a roadside shop of FrenchColony, which is actually famous for some other drinks. The time and our travel is not let us to go for that drinks. After the tea we got a bus from "Meenu Travels" to Chidambaram.Even they said bus time is 3:45 am, they started the bus by 4:10 only. We get in to cudallore by 5:00 am and the bus is stopped there for fetching more passengers. The guys inside the bus got angry and start fighting with conductor to start the bus. After all this happenings we reached chitambaram by 6:10 am.

From chitambaram pradeep took a bus to mayavaram and i took a bus to kattumannarkudi to reach our places.

Really it was a unforgettable experience of path finding and exploring east coast region of Tamilnadu.

Even all these happened I took the same route for return journey to Chennai. That is a different story.

I am proudly announcing that i am completing two years of my service in xerago.I would like to thank the people who were helped me a lot to achive this.

My special thanks to Mali,Durai,Raghav,Rajesh those who were my previous managers.

Our Saffary in Chola's Kingdom,,

During the last weekend,We [all our mansion mates] went to beloved friend lingeswaran's wedding reception in Trichy and we had a enjoyable and get together trip throughout the Chola kingdom area's[now it's eastern districts of tamilnadu].
In a Big Car/Small Van[Toyota Qualis]we 9 members went to the trip.we have attended the reception on Saturday evening[11/06/05] and the next day morning we started our journey of explore went to tanjore and roam around the "Pragadeeswarar Temple" and get wondered about the architecture that the ancient tamilian's had and the brilliance of engineering in civil.The Beauty of crafting in the Rock and the intelligence of mathematical calculation is used altogether in every statue and pillars.It was a amazing experience.

From there we went to "Tiruvarur" a place of the Biggest CAR[Theer]in tamilnadu.We had a sumptuous lunch in pradeep[one of my mansion mate/colleague],that is nonveg&veg separation for every body.

Then we went to one of the pilgrim place of Islamic "Nagur" there we had a formal worship.
Now,That was the time to turn back.we started our return journey from nagur and that was a fine experience eventhough that is through the bad roads.Because we saw the places that i have never seen like "Tirupananthal,Vadaloor,etc".we enjoyed the journey by singing our self to entertainingly.Syed ali[Mansion mate]sang some beautiful melody songs and i sang some gana's and durai sang both gana & melody songs.Our Beloved Friend,Mansion's Mega Star "SYED KASIM" sang a own written song which explains his sorrow of love failure. Finally we reached chennai by 12:15 AM on 13/02/06.[One bad thing is for that fifteen mins we were paid one day extra bata to the driver].

Last but not Least,
Because of Mali[Lingeswaran] we had a wonderfull get together with all of our mansion mates and that is a unforgettable moment.

These are things written in heart and will be memorable pages in our "Autograph"..

The 90/10 Principle

Have you read this before? Discover the 90/10 Principle. It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations). What is this principle? 10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean? We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.

How? By your reaction. You cannot control a red light., but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example. You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just what happened. What happens when the next will be determined by how you react. You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over. She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave immediately for work. You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit. After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home, When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.

Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why did you have a bad day?

A) Did the coffee cause it?

B) Did your daughter cause it?

C) Did the policeman cause it?

D) Did you cause it?

The answer is D. You had no control over what happened with the coffee. How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day. Here is what could have and should have happened. Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "It's ok honey, you just need, to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.

Notice the difference? Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different. Why? Because of how you REACTED. You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.

Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle.

If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you! React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.

How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off) Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive? Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.

You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.

The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take out your frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on. Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger. Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse. Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it.

The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle. The result? Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache. There never seem to be a success in life. Bad days follow bad days. Terrible things seem to be constantly happening. There is constant stress, lack of joy, and broken relationships. Worry consumes time. Anger breaks friendships and life seems dreary and is not enjoyed to the fullest. Friends are lost. Life is a bore and often seems cruel. Does this describe you? If so, do not be discouraged

You can be different! Understand and apply the 90/10 principle. It will change your life.

Remember – Respond to a situation, don’t React.
